SupplyOne was founded in 1998 with a vision to create a national specialty supply company through acquisition and consolidation of companies that are leaders in their local and regional markets. One of the first acquisitions was National Paper and Packaging, which had been operating in the Ohio market since 1914. Within NPP, a division was created in 1978 to focus resources on the Retail market. While many of the products being supplied were identical to other markets, the scale was different and the service model for order management and delivery systems was unique. This division was branded NPP Retail.

After being acquired by SupplyOne in 2000, NPP Retail became SupplyOne Retail. Being part of SupplyOne instantly gave the Retail division access to a broader spectrum of support services and an expanding set of core capabilities including new technology solutions and a larger footprint of servicing locations that enable us to service all of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Northern Mexico. In 2014, SupplyOne Retail was merged with SupplyOne Store Services and is now branded SupplyOne Retail Store Services. Previously, the Store Services group, based in Philadelphia, PA, focused on small footprint Retail locations and Convenience Stores. The Store Services division relied on the same vendor base as the Retail Group, with some additional core product categories like safety products, breakroom supplies and janitorial tools. Additionally, we have developed product solutions focused on the retail market and customized package quantities that allow for a reduction in inventory investment and an improvement in back room space utilization.

Merging these two groups together under one brand gives us even more focus and resources to dedicate to the national retail industry, giving our customers a foundation for new ideas, excellent service and comprehensive supply solutions that guarantee a lower total cost of ownership.
